System leadership in different contexts: In this session leaders share their insight, experiences and observations of system leadership in different contexts. The panel will reflect on:
- The personal leadership attributes necessary for systems leaders
- What it takes to manage relationships effectively and sensitively with multiple stakeholders
- How to convene and facilitate
- Processes of obtaining support or consensus to realise improvements, and
- Navigating complexity.
This session will build on previous sessions ‘Leading in systems – lessons from the research evidence’, ‘Hearing multiple voices: the role of the new leader’ and ‘Realities of leading healthcare systems in the UK’.
