Dan Wootton

NIHR Advanced Fellow and Senior Clinical Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine
University of Liverpool

Dan is an NIHR Advanced Fellow in Respiratory Infection at the Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences, University of Liverpool where his work focuses on respiratory tract infections, in particular community and hospital acquired pneumonia (CAP and HAP).

Dan is also an Honorary Consultant Respiratory Physician at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where he runs the follow up service for patients who were admitted with COVID pneumonia.
He is the Chief Investigator for the HAP-FAST trial (https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT05483309) and is the clinical lead for the HAP policy project being discussed at this meeting.
