Keerthini Muthuswamy

Keerthini is a radiology trainee at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, prior to which she completed an academic foundation programme at Imperial College Healthcare. Since completing an intercalated BSc in Management at university, Keerthini has had a longstanding interest in healthcare management and feels particularly strongly that good clinical leadership is vital for safe and efficient patient care.

She has undertaken the National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellowship in 2021/22, working between the GMC and Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, where she was involved in several projects around postgraduate leadership development. She is also currently a leadership fellow at the Royal College of Radiologists, where she is undertaking work to address differential attainment within the college.
